Guitar Teacher Paul Tauterouff

Paul Tauterouff is a highly respected guitarist, live sound, studio recording engineer and guitar teacher living in upstate New York.

The Guitar Classroom is proud to announce that Paul has kindly agreed to give some free guitar lessons/advice which we will publish on our site, for the benefit of our visitors.

Paul Tauterouff has been playing guitar since 1979, and is influenced by guitarists Michael Schenker, Gary Moore, and Glenn Tipton. He has played and mixed countless shows in the tri-state area over the past 25 years.

In 2007 Paul was chosen by Tom Hess as co-manager of the Music Careers Mentoring Program.

Also in 2007 Paul’s song “Frozen Heart” was released on the Chronicles: City Of Sound compilation CD with 10,000 CD’s distributed worldwide.

Paul Tauterouff : E Lydian Guitar Improvisation

The first guitar lesson from Paul is called Pentamodal Idea and is meant to help guitarists already familiar with the pentatonic scale to learn and utilize the modes in their lead guitar playing.
