Learn to play guitar with Jared Crebs guitar beginners guide

The most boring part for every guitar beginner is just that: beginning to learn to play guitar. If you start with your guitar efforts it just sounds awful, you are not able to get any decent sound from your guitar, your fingers hurt after just a few minutes of trying to put them on the strings in such a way that some form of sound is produced. It takes quit a bit of effort to go through this beginner part. You have one comfort, just remember every guitarist, no matter how famous, once was a beginner and did not have a clue how to play even a simple E chord. There has been a time that Jimmy Hendrix did not know how to play guitar, and look what became of him.

An important part of starting to learn to play guitar is tuning your guitar. Boring as it might be, it is extremely important. As you might know, there are lots of ways of tuning, but I would start with the standard tuning. Later, when you are capable of playing some chords you could start to try out different tuning systems, but the standard tuning is something you should be totally familiar with. You just can not learn to play guitar on a guitar that is out of tune.

Another problem for the guitar beginner is how to begin, were to get the beginner lessons. Maybe you have a friend who can play the guitar, or a relative. You could search the Internet for free beginner lessons, there are lots of sites that provide free lessons for guitar. Free guitar lessons are ok to start with, but if you are getting along you probably need something more, you need a good guitar learning system. There are many good guitar courses available on the Internet, just shop around, take your time and you will find the guitar course that suites you.
