Get Your Guitar Lessons From Jam Play

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

In my last post I mentioned Guitar Tricks, one of the oldest and most reliable online guitar schools. Another great choice for the guitar student is Jam Play.

Jam Play offers an online guitar course that is highly structured. They offer beginner guitar lessons, and after that you can go on to the lessons for the more advanced guitarist.

You have also the choice to specialize in a certain style, for example blues, rock or jazz  guitar, electric or acoustic.

All lessons are on video, and they come in 3 different sizes, so even with a slow Internet connection you do not have the problem that your video stops all the time.

With each lesson and each topic of guitar, you will be  given you a full printout to reference and study. So even after you stop with your Jam Play subscription, you still have these to study.

Jam Play offers a full  chord library, complete with photo of how each chord of the guitar is played. Again, you can print these and keep for later reference.

You can ask your teachers questions, and they will be answered on video, and you can look at questions asked by other student, and of course watch the answers on video. You have the ability to scroll through page after page of previously asked questions, can be handy sometimes.

They also have a private message system, which you can use to keep contact with other Jam Play students. There is a whole community of Jam Play students. You can create your own profile, keep a friends list etc.

A Jam Play subscription cost $19.95 a month, which is a bit more expensive as Guitar Tricks ( $12.95 a month ) They give however a good reduction if you pay for three months, or even a year. A yearly subscription with Jam Play cost just $139.95, just over $13 a month. You can of course first sign up for a month, and if you are satisfied with the guitar school, pay for a year.

So visit The Guitar Classroom and sign up with Jam Play
